May Beauty, Nail and Accessorie Favourites 2015

May Beauty, Nail and Accessorise Favourites
June is just round the corner and yes it's finally Summer! May has been a month of intense reviews, re-discoveries and some serious accessories love, so here's what I been loving for the month of May.

What have you been loving in May? Tweet me or leave me a comment down below.
I reviewed this last month as I had heard Fleur from Fleur De Force rave about this loads and oh boy I wasn't disappointed! This concealer has a beautiful creamy consistency, that conceals and highlights perfectly, as well as lasting all day. I also love the affordability factor too.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
This has become my favourite face powder, next to my holy grail MAC MSF Natural. This powder is super cheap, flawless looking and keeps me looking matte all day, what more could you ask for!

Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette
This palette is a great dupe for six of the colours from the Urban Decay Naked 1 palette. I love these colours as they are buttery in texture and totally wearable for every day.

L'oreal Micellar Gel
Having tried most drugstore micellar waters, I recently discovered and totally fell in love with this micellar gel formula from L'Oreal. It removes my make-up with ease, without irritating my eyes.

Elizabeth Eight Hour Cream
This is a staple in my bathroom cupboard and I never travel without it. It's a great multi-tasker on spots, bites, chapped lips and eczema.

Soap and Glory The Firminator
I first discovered this through Tati on YouTube and I have been using this ever since as an add on to my current beauty routine, to co-inside with my bridal beauty countdown. I love unusual products that target specific areas of the body and The Firminator does exactly that, by focusing on the arms to help smooth and firm.

Morgan Taylor Don't Worry Be Brilliant Nail Polish
I love this neon coral shade, especially on toes, it's the perfect shade for Summer time and is a colour I recently featured in my coral nail polish collection.

Neon Earrings Accessorize
These I wore in my recent Get Ready With Me video for a Summer Wedding I went to last week. I just love bright statement earrings for summertime, as they dress up any outfit for the evening.

Primark Mint Green Bag
I had been looking for a clutch bag to go with my coral dress I wore last week and found the best mint green one in, of course the best place ever, Primark! I admit you can't fit a lot in this bag, but for the price you really can't go wrong.

Primark Mint Green Sandals
If you haven't guessed already, I do love mint green and it's also one of our chosen colours for our Wedding. I used to spend a lot on crystalized sandals back in the day, but ever since Primark became a thing, I buy all my sandals from there as they have the best selection of beautifully, embellished sandals.

Nail of the Day - Coral Nail Polish Collection

Coral Nail Polish
Last week my toes finally came out of hibernation for the Wedding I went too. I decided to paint them a bright neon coral to match with my dress and in the end I opted for Morgan Taylor Don't Worry Be Brilliant.

Coral's are one of my favourite shades to wear at this time of year, as they just make me think of warm evenings and Summer holidays. Now it has to be said, I have a fair few shades of coral nail polish, so I thought I would narrow it down to my top five coral picks for Summer.

What's your favourite coral nail polish? Leave a comment down below or tweet me.
O.P.I My Chihuahua Bites!, Morgan Taylor Watch Your Step, Sister!, Soigne Sirop De Rose, Morgan Taylor Don't Worry Be Brilliant, China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy
1. O.P.I My Chihuahua Bites - This is a crème based deep coral, that has a red undertone.
2. Morgan Taylor Watch Your, Step Sister - Created for the Disney Cinderella film, Watch Your Step, Sister is a beautiful bright shade of coral, which again is crème based, with a pink undertone.
3. Soigne Sirop De Rose - This gorgeous pink/coral has the most beautiful formula, that is natural based too.
4. Morgan Taylor Don't Worry Be Brilliant - I absolutely love this shade as it's true neon coral, which is super bright and fun.
5. China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy - This is an oldie, but a goody, as it's again a super bright neon coral, which has more of an orange undertone compared to the Morgan Taylor one.

My Perfume Collection - Updated, featuring Marc Jacobs & YSL

I'm a big fan of perfume as it always makes me feel expensive and special whenever I wear it. There's just something about particular scents that give me a warm nostalgia feel, so I thought I would share with you my updated perfume collection, as I haven't done one of these since 2013.

I will pop a link (highlighted in pink) to an amazing website, for all the perfumes I have listed so you can check out the top notes of each fragrance

What's your current perfume favourite? Leave a comment down below or tweet me.
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy
Viva La Juicy I first bought on my last trip to New York about six years ago. At the time I was obsessed with anything Juicy and purchased this in the Juicy Couture shop on 5th Avenue. I have bought this ever since as it has strong memories for me, from my time in New York.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Fleur
Viva La Juicy La Fleur is one of my favourite perfumes for the Spring and Summer. If you like the original I think you'll like this, it's a slightly more fresher, lighter scent than the original but nether less beautiful.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight
Another one of my much-loved perfumes for Spring is this Daisy Eau So Fresh. I wouldn't typically go for these more fresher scents, but there's something about this, that is perfect for everyday.

YSL Manifesto
Manifesto is one of my newer scents I've added to my collection and is actually fast becoming my favourite! This is a gorgeous deep, musky scent that lasts all day on the skin for me.

Jean Paul Gaultier Classique
Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, is a perfume I have worn ever since I was a teenager. As the name suggests this is a classic fragrance that never gets old for me.

Vera Wang Princess
The packaging alone sold this too me a few years back now and ever since Vera Wang Princess is a perfume I have bought time and time again. This is a strong perfume that lasts all day, but it does have a lovely freshness running through it and is one that every girl should own!

Gucci Rush
Gucci Rush is another one of my signature teenage scents, I love this I think purely for the nostalgic memories it brings back. I admit this is a super strong scent hat is not to everyone's taste, but it does last all day.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Roller Ball
I also got this little roller ball travel edition of the Viva La Juicy scent in New York as it's great to pop in your handbag for a night out or on the go touch ups.

Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely
Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker is another nostalgic scent for me and one I must get again soon. This perfume stick I've had for a while now and should probably throw out, as I really don't use it that much because it leaves a greasy residue on the skin, that can be messy at times.

Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer Review and Photos

Bourjois Chocolate Bronzing Powder
Bronzing powder has been part of my make-up routine ever since I can remember and over the past few years I have been using the same Sienna X Bronzer, as it's matte and not too orange. I recently finished this Sienna X one and thought it was finally time for a change. I had heard a lot of things about the popular Bourjois Chocolate Bronzing Powder, so I thought I would give it a try, here's my thoughts.

Have you tried this Bronzing Powder, do you rate it or hate it, I'd love to know your thoughts? Leave a comment down below or tweet me.
Price
This retails for £7.99 for 16.5g of product and comes in two shades, 51 Medium and 52 Tanned. Although this is at the pricier end of the scale for a drugstore bronzer, you do get a good amount of product.
Packaging
The packaging is eye-catching mainly because of the novelty chocolate aspect and powder itself is shaped like a chocolate bar which  has a subtle, pleasant chocolate smell too.

Application
I picked this up in shade 51 Medium as this seemed the lightest of the two. Initially I thought this bronzer was matte, as they do look matte in the packaging, but this does have a slight sparkle to it. Upon application there was quite a bit of fallout and it wasn't the greatest to blend either, I did end up having to blend this out with some of my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. The overall finish was patchy and orange looking, almost like I had serious sunburn on my face!

Longevity
I had this on for a total of 11 hours and although the colour did stay for a majority of the day it did fade towards the end of the night.

Overall Thoughts
Even though I had heard good things about this bronzer and of course the packaging and chocolate aspect is eye-catching, for me this was a total fail. The consistency is lovely and silky, but the application was awful, as the bronzer was hard to blend and left me with more of an orange patchy look. It's a shame this bronzer only comes in two, quite dark shades, as it would be great if they also catered for paler complexions who are after a more subtle glow.

I award the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer 2 out of 5
