Maybelline LFW Lounge and Key S/S 2017 Makeup Looks + GIVEAWAY!

Maybelline Lipstick and Chill Lounge
A few Saturday's ago I was lucky enough to be invited to the Maybelline Lipsticks and Chill Lounge at London Fashion Week. I was also excited to watch Maybelline's Key Make-up Artist Neil Young in action as he showed us some of the emerging make-up trends and looks straight off the catwalk, so here's an overview of the two looks he created.
LIPS & LASHES - LOOK 1
The first look Neil created focused mainly around a beautiful pop of red on the lips. He started by lining the lips with the Color Sensational Lip Liner in 547 Pleasure Me Red, he then went in with one of the new Vivid Matte Lip Creams in Rebel Red to complete the lip.
Next he went in with one of my favourite mascara's the Lash Sensational Luscious oil blend which he used to build up the lashes. He also tight lined the upper and lower water line with a black kohl too.
To complete the look Neil used one of the new Master Strobing Sticks in Medium-Nude Glow to add a subtle sheen to the brow bone and tops of the cheeks. To take away the shine in the centre of the face he also used the new formula Maybelline Fit Me Foundation and Powder to set everything into place.
SULTRY SMOKEY EYE - LOOK 2
This second look was focused this time on the eyes. To start, Neil went in with this stunning brown glitter pencil in Brownie Glitz from the Master Drama The Nudes range in the crease, lash line and lower lash line. He then used a fluffy brush to blend this all out. To add a bit more definition, he also added a bit of black pencil to the lash line which he slightly winged out too. Then again he blended this out to create a softer smokey look.
This season we have seen alot of focus on glossy eyes and this look was no exception. Neil went in with the original Quenched Baby Lips and used this not for the lips, but for the eye lids to add that pop of editorial gloss to the lid. He also used the Strobing Stick again over the top of the gloss to complete this sultry, smokey eye look.
To finish he used the Color Drama Intense Lip Paint in Stripped Down on not only the lips but on the cheeks too.
Overall I loved Neil's creative and versatile visions for all things editorial, he also proved that you don't have to wear a lot of make-up to look polished and put together.

Real Techniques Miracle Mini Eraser Sponge Review & Photos

Real Techniques Miracle Mini Eraser Sponges
Real Techniques have been killing it recently with their latest sponge releases, including another new addition to the core collection in the shape of the Miracle Mini Eraser Sponges. These cute little sponges are designed for specific use around the eye area, so here's my thoughts.

Price
These retail for £5.99 for a pack of two which is great value for money.
Packaging
As always these miniature sponges come in clear and informative packaging as well as online video on how to use. The sponges themselves are very similar to the Miracle Complexion Sponge the only difference being the flat edge is cut at the top. These can also be used we or dry too.
Application
Just like the Diamond Sponge, these are multi-tasking sponges that have so many benefits to them. My favourite way to use them is damp to apply concealer as it's so soft and perfect for the delicate eye area. I also use the flat side to bake under the eyes and to wipe away any fall out from shadows and liner.
Overall Thoughts
It's official I'm obsessed with these little miracles! Firstly I love the fact that you get two in to pack so you can have one on the go at all times and secondly the size, shape and softness of these sponges make them perfect for under the eyes, detail work and so many other uses.

So if your a big fan of the Miracle Complexion Sponge and your constantly using more than one tool to erase mistakes, blend, conceal and bake then I would defiantly recommend checking out these amazing mini sponges!

I award the Real Techniques Miracle Mini Eraser Sponges 4.9 out 5
