Nails Inc The Statement Collection Swatches, Review & Photos

I first discovered Nails Inc. many years ago and became a fan instantly, I have watched them grow into an innovative, fashion forward brand with nail bars across the UK.

I love Nails Inc. for their on trend colours and textures that suit any devoted nail lover!

I received The Statement Collection as a Christmas Gift, the 7 piece set is from QVC and has up to the minute colours, finishes and textures.

PRICE - This is priced at £33.95 including P&P for the seven polishes, which is an amazing price considering one polish alone costs £11! My top tip for buying Nails Inc. is to shop on QVC as they always have up to date colours and trends at affordable pack prices.

PACKAGING - The package itself was just a card board box that the varnish came in, but each one was wrapped in bubble wrap to protect it. The bottles themselves are 10ml which is a little less than a regular high end polish which usually contains around 15ml for around the same price. I really love the different names on the front to represent which nail trend they are, it's cute and individual.

APPLICATION - The brush is a lovely shape which makes the polish easy to apply, the only thing I don't like is the cap as it's round which makes it hard to hold properly when applying. Most of the colours are opaque in one coat which is something I love about Nails Inc. but beware as some of the glitter polishes are packed with so much glitter it makes it hard to apply onto the nail, so I advise patting it on.

LONGEVITY - Most of the colours get a good wear of 4-5 days, but the glitter trend bottles tend to chip really easily after about a day, I recommend using them as a top coat over your favourite polish to make them chip less, instead of applying layers of pure glitter.

I award the Nails Inc. Statement Collection 4.7 out of 5.

Maybelline Baby Skin Review and Photos - Benefit Porefessional Dupe

PRICE - This is priced at an affordable £7.99 for 22ml which is a steal compared to the hefty £24.50 price tag for Benefit Porefessional, which is also 22ml.

PACKAGING - Like the Baby Lips the packaging is cute and quirky which is a new direction for the New York giant Maybelline. I like the design as it draws me in to buy this without even knowing what it is, what can I say I'm a sucker for cute packaging!
APPLICATION - The formula is clear and the consistency silky to apply, I applied this with my fingers to my forehead, cheeks, jaw and lip area. I felt this evened out my skin tone, got rid of any shine and felt velvety on the skin. I'd say you need a little more product than the Porefessional as it is slightly thicker than Benefit's, but it made my foundation look lovely and flawless.

LONGEVITY - This lasted fairly well for a good 9 hours with slight wear to my foundation, bronzer and blusher., Benefit Porefessional I'd say has better longevity but Maybelline is a great everyday primer for that 8 hour working weekday.
OVERALL THOUGHTS
Overall I thought this was very similar to Benefit Porefessional but for less than half the price for the same amount of product, the consistency was virtually identical the only difference was Benefit is slightly thinner and is tinted. My only con was this doesn't last as long and maybe doesn't even out the skin tone as well as the Porefessional, but Maybelline has yet again come up with an inexpensive, fun, competitive and well thought out product that makes any high end make-up brand go weak at the knees.

I award the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser 4.6 out of 5

Vanity Make-Up Organisation & Inspiration Tips

Vanity Makeup Organisation and Storage
I'm always striving to find the perfect storage for my Make-Up and Nail Polish so that everything is easy accessible and clearly laid out so I can see what I have. I finally have everything organised in my vanity and thought I would show you how you too can store your Make-Up, Brushes, Nail Products etc. using clever storage that doesn't have to cost you the earth if you shop around.

I hope you feel inspired to get organised this January! Share any tips and favourite ways you like to store your beauty products in the comments box below!
Ikea Alex 5 Drawer
Storage ideas and inspiration for inside the Ikea Alex Five Draw
I love this draw liner from Ikea it protects the draws, keeps them clean and is super inexpensive
Muji is great for organising or try your local home ware store in the kitchen section for similar size containers.
I like these Acrylic Draws so I can see everything clearly and it's in easy reach.
Also try Homebase, Staples and WHSmith in the stationary section for acrylic alternatives.
Mirrored Furniture also looks pretty on Vanity's.
This I got in the sale years ago, so shop around for mirrored jewellery boxes.
Try, Matalan, BHS & Argos.
Large Acrylic Pots - Muji and  Small Acrylic Pots - Muji
This is such a cute idea to display your colourful beauty products!
Check out the Kitchen sections for unique shaped bowls.
