Milani Cosmetics is a popular drugstore brand within the US and finally, after a long wait, we can now get our hands on this colourful on-trend makeup brand here in the UK! WHAT DOES IT DO AND WHO IS IT FOR?
The Milani Conceal and Perfect is a full coverage matte foundation and concealer in one that not only covers blemishes, redness etc. but also conceals dark circles and spots. And with an extensive amount of shades to choose from, there's something for everyone whether you choose one or mix two together.

The Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation and Concealer retails for £12 for 30ml of product.

PACKAGING
This comes in a glass bottle with a pump applicator.

HOW TO USE
I find this works well with both a brush and damp sponge, I usually take a pump and a half of the foundation and distribute it evenly preferably with a Real Techniques Sponge that you can find here*. I picked up the Shade 01 Creamy Vanilla, however, I did find this had a slight yellow undertone, nonetheless, this blended out well and it gives a lovely flawless even coverage that's comparable to the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer that I reviewed here.

LONGEVITY
I wore this for a solid nine hours and I would say it lasted well and still looked pretty good by the end of the day.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
Despite this having a slight yellow undertone I did enjoy the overall look and coverage of this foundation and I applaud Milani for releasing an impressive and extensive shade range. This is a little more expensive here in the UK however it's not that much more expensive compared to other foundations within the UK Drugstore market.

Overall I think this is a great dupe for the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation if you want something more budget-friendly that's still full coverage, matte and lasts, and I love the fact that Milani is finally an accessible brand within the UK, hooray for that!

WHAT DOES IT DO AND WHO IS IT FOR?
The Essence Designer Eyebrow is a brow pencil with a brush that's for anyone and everyone to help give definition and shape or to fill in sparse brows.

The Essence Eyebrow Pencil retails for £1.50.

PACKAGING
Each brow pencil is simply packaged in the colour of the pencil and comes with a handy brush within the top to help with grooming and blending out.

HOW TO USE
As I mentioned above you can use this in two ways to either define the brows or to fill in any gaps you may have. I usually use the brush to groom my brows first then I define them by drawing in the shape I want to achieve as well as using the pencil to add tiny hair strokes in the areas that need a little more fullness. Lastly, you can use the brush again to blend out any harsh lines and you can even pop this in your handbag for on the go touch ups.

LONGEVITY
With regards to how long-wearing they are, I would say the colour lasts a majority of the day just like any other brow pencil, however, if you want to ensure your brows are completely bulletproof, then I would go in with a little brow powder over the top and then something like the Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara to finish and set everything into place.

The shelf life of the pencils is 36 months once opened.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
This is a lovely simple eyebrow pencil for the price if you want something that's easy, fuss-free and travel-friendly. I love the fact that all the shades have a nice colour pay off without looking too harsh and you can even use two shades if you want to do more of an ombre brow as there is definitely a shade to suit most hair colours. As with any brow pencil, this does need sharpening to maintain the perfect point for drawing in the hairs but overall the Designer Eyebrow Pencil is ideal for any beginner out there who wants something that is affordable, easy to use and compact.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
These liquid shadows are insanely pigmented, sparkly and long-wearing and I actually really love the fact that although these are super glittery, they are all totally wearable neutral shades. I personally love wearing either Rose Gold or Bare Brillance as an eyeshadow base and then going over the top with a similar shadow shade for a more toned down everyday look and then if I wanted to amp it up of an evening, I could then go in with a little more of the fairy lights on top.

The only thing I would say is despite these being long-wearing you do get a bit of glitter fall out throughout the day, but I think that is to be expected with this kind of formula. Either way, the Liquid Fairy Lights are truly stunning whether you're after a touch of twinkle onto a bare lid or you just love a full-on glam look!

I've tried a fair few highlighters over the past couple of years but these really are on another level! I adore the shades in both duos as their so versatile, wearable and long-lasting.
