OVERALL THOUGHTS
I absolutely love this duo! I'm obsessed with the Moon Mask specifically as it's unlike anything I've ever used before thanks to its lightweight gel-cream texture. This mask always makes my skin feel super soft and smooth and it's a perfect pick me up for dehydrated skin.

The Mega Greens I love when my skins having a moment, I tend to use this of an evening to help draw out any impurities and nasties from the skin. Overall I actually enjoy using these two together as they compliment each other well with the Mega Greens deep cleaning the skin and the Moisturizing Moon Mask re-hydrating and replenishing the skin afterwards.

5 Aldi Skin Care Dupes You Need To Know Under £10!

Aldi Skin Care
If you've seen any of my recent skincare videos then you'll know I've become a bit obsessed and fascinated with supermarket skincare. Today I wanted to share with you some truly amazing finds I picked up from Aldi recently. These five products are actually wonderful dupes for some of my more expensive skincare favourites and so I had to share them with you while they are still available to buy as a lot of these items are released in small quantities and once they are gone you can't always guarantee they will bring them back in stock again.
Aldi Hot Cloth Cleanser
DUPE 1 - Aldi Lacura Hot Cloth Cleanser 200ml £3.99
ORIGINAL - Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish 200ml £26
The Aldi Hot Cloth Cleanser I first discovered back in December when my mum gifted me one for Christmas. I've been using this now for 2 months and I have to say this is one of the best dupes I've come across so far. The tube contains 200ml of product just like the original 200ml Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, however, you are saving a whopping £22.01 on the Aldi version which also comes with a muslin cloth too. And... not only does this smell so similar but virtually most of the ingredients bar a few extra in each are identical! I've listed the Aldi ingredients below that are the same as the Liz Earle version.

Aqua, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Citric Acid, Ethyhexylglycerin, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract,  Limonene and similar is Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract.
Aldi Charcoal Clearing Mudmask
DUPE 2 - Lacura Charcoal Clearing Mudmask 50ml £5.99
ORIGINAL - Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment 50g £42
The Aldi Charcoal Clearing Mudmask I already have a full First Impression here so I won't go into too much detail. Nonetheless, this is a fantastic dupe for the Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment as it not only looks very similar but this works in the same way at helping draw out impurities, minimising pores and mattifying the skin. Again I've listed below which ingredients are identical in both.

Aqua, Kaolin, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Glycolic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Parfum, Sodium Hydroxide, Ethylhexyglycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf, Limonene, Linalool and CI 77499.

Aldi Charcoal Mud to Foam Cleanser
DUPE 3 - ALDI Charcoal Mud to Foam Cleanser 150ml £5.99
ORIGINAL - Glamglow Supercleanse Clearing Cream to Foam Cleanser £24 150ml
The Lacura Charcoal Mud to Foam Cleanser is also included in my First Impression video here, so if you would like to see a more detailed review and demo then feel free to check out this video also.

So if you haven't already guessed this is another amazing Glamglow dupe, this time for the Supercleanse Clearing Cream to Foam Cleanser. Now although I can't compare this fully to the original Glamglow Supercleanse as I've never tried this, what I can tell you is this does include many of the same ingredients and the Aldi version does perform in much the same way. So if you are after a charcoal cleanser that removes face makeup like a dream and you're a fan of an exfoliating cleanser then why not save yourself the £18.01 and give the Aldi one a go instead! Below are the ingredients that can be found in both the Glamglow and Aldi version.

Aqua, Kaolin, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Glycolic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Charcoal Powder, Parfum, Lactic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin and Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil.

Aldi Miracle Cream
DUPE 4 - Lacura Miracle Cream Skin Protection 50ml £3.99
ORIGINAL - Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream 50ml £22
The Lacura Miracle Cream is very comparable to my beloved Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream that has been one of my holy grails for years now. I've never actually seen anything so similar to the Elizabeth Arden version before and I was truly excited when I discovered this as not only is it a steal at £3.99 but, it looks the same and contains the same amount as the original!

If you're are unfamiliar with what this kind of cream does, then it's one of those wonder balms that can be used anywhere from spots to sunburn, chapped lips to eyebrows. Below is a list of ingredients that can be found in both.

Petrolatum, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Lanolin, Salicylic Acid, Tocopherol, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, BHT, Parfum, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol and Limonene, Linalool.

Aldi Glycolic Pads
DUPE 5 - Lacura Daily Cleansing Glycolic Pads 60 Pads £2.49
ORIGINAL - Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Cleansing Pads 60 pads £12.95
This final Aldi Skincare Dupe is a recent release which resembles the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Cleansing Pads. (I have the Extreme pictured, but the original is the most similar to the Aldo version).

I would say out of all the dupes I've featured this has the least amount of identical ingredients, however, listed below is still a fair few ingredients that are identical in both. The Aldi Daily Cleansing Pads contain 60 just like the Nip + Fab ones the only other difference being you're saving a massive £10.46 on the Lacura ones! And honestly for £2.49, these are worth picking up just to try out if you're already a fan of Glycolic pads anyway.

Aqua, Glycolic Acid, Glycerin, Parfum, Hamamelis Virginiana Water, Panthenol, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Dehydroacetic Acid.

5 of the Best Drugstore Face Masks

Drugstore Face Masks
Following on from my Drugstore Skincare Haul, comes the second instalment within my Drugstore Skincare Series. This time we're talking about Drugstore Face Masks and my Top 5 Favourites. I'd love to know what some of your Drugstore favourites are too!
1. L'Oreal Pure Clay Masks £7.99 - Boots & Superdrug
I absolutely adore all three of these because they are wonderful dupes for the Glamglow versions, but for a fraction of the price. They are also great to multi-mask with if you want to target a number of skin concerns all at once, but of course you can wear them alone too. Finally if you do want to find out more about each one in detail, then be sure to read my review on them here.

2. Una Brennon Super Facialist Por Purifying Clay Mask £9.99 - Boots
Another fantastic clay mask is from the Una Brennon Super Facialist line, sold exclusively at Boots. This is great for detoxifying the skin as it contains salicylic acid, Acacia Honey and Avocado Oil. I love using this if I have a pesky spot or blemish come up, as it helps to draw out impurities.

3. Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven in Relaxing Spa Mud Mask in Lavender and Jasmine and Argan Oil Mud 90p - £1 - Primark & Wilko
I used to love using these sachet masks as a teenager and I still adore them to this day. These are perfect for travel and you can usually get about two to three uses from each sachet. There is also over 30 different wet masks to choose from that help target numerous concerns.

4. Ingredients Sheet Face Mask in Charcoal & Willow Bark £2.50 - Boots
Sheet masks have become increasingly popular over the past couple of years and while testing out four drugstore versions, I fell in love with this Boots own in Charcoal and Willow Bark, that helps to cleanse and purify the skin. I found this to be refreshing and hydrating, which is perfect if you're on a long haul flight, plus it's such a great price point too.

5. Neutrogena Visbly Clear Pore & Shine In Shower Mask* £4.99 - Boots & Superdrug
This last mask is wonderful if you're short for time or maybe you're a mum and time is of the essence. All you do is apply this onto damp skin while in the shower and allow it to penetrate for 60 seconds. You then massage the product in and wash away to reveal refined, refreshed and matt skin in an instant!

*This product was sent to me, but as always all opinions are my own.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Masks Review & Photos - Glamglow Dupes?

L'Oreal Pure Clay Masks in Purity, Detox and Glow
Every couple of weeks I do like to do a good face mask to draw out any impurities that may be lurking beneath the skin, especially after that time of the month! When choosing a face mask I tend to lean towards either a high end one, sachet or a sheet mask, as I've never really seen any of the drugstore skincare brands delving into the mask market and accommodating for lots of different concerns, apart from 7th Heaven. So you can imagine my face when I was wondering in Boots and I came across these three new masks from L'Oreal. I instantly thought they reminded me of the very expensive Glam Glow masks and so you know me of course I had to give them a go!
Price
These retail for £7.99 for 50ml of product, but at the moment these are on offer for £5 which I think is a great starter price, so if your interested I would snap them up now while they're on offer. On the packaging it also advisees you can get 10 applications from each jar.
Packaging
I love the packaging for these as they are eye catching, clear and expensive looking. Each box is also clearly labelled with who the mask is for, what it does and what it contains. All three masks also come in a glass jar too, with a beautiful metallic pale green lid.
Application
There is three masks that make up the Pure Clay family including Purity, Detox and Glow. Each clay mask caters for a different concern and can be used alone or if you have a few concerns you can do what I did and multi mask.
Purity Clay Mask with Eucalyptus
Detox Clay Mask with Charcoal
Glow Clay Mask with Red Algae
I applied these with my fingers and left all three on for 10 minutes as recommended. The purity mask I used on my forehead as I am prone to a bit of shine, this had the lightest consistency of the three. I next applied the glow mask on the cheeks and sides of my face to help brighten, this had a gritty texture to help exfoliate and brighten the skin. The final mask I applied to my nose and chin as I tend to get breakouts around these areas the most.

All three masks smelt lovely and fresh and left my skin feeling super soft too and having tried one of the Glam Glow masks, everything about these is very similar, but for a fraction of the price!
Overall Thoughts
I absolutely loved these masks as not only do they cater for a fantastic range of skin concerns, they look expensive and are a great affordable alternative to the pricey Glam Glow muds. I will have to keep you updated with regards to more long term results as I do need to use these a few more times to be able to share with you my final thoughts, but overall if your after an inexpensive skin pick me up, spa in a jar, that feels amazing on the skin, then these are defiantly worth a look at!

I award the L'Oreal Pure Clay Masks 4.7 out of 5
