OVERALL THOUGHTS
This is definitely one of the best bronzers to come out of the drugstore market! Being fair skinned I picked this up in the shade Light Bronzer and this shade doesn't disappoint... The colour warms up my face perfectly and I love the fact that it doesn't look orange at all. However, if you do like a super tanned face then I would maybe buy the next shade up, nonetheless, this matte bronzer is soft to the touch, smells like holidays and blends out like a dream!

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara Review and Photos

Physicians Formula UK
Physicians Formula is a brand I first discovered on one of my many trips to the Drugstore anytime I was visiting the US. I always found this to be an interesting company but at the same time quite expensive for a drugstore brand. However, the thing that appeals to me most about Physicians Formula is the fact they don't use harsh ingredients within their products and they're hypoallergenic and Cruelty-Free too.

I've been yearning to try out two of Physicians Formula's iconic products for years now and I finally got around to picking up the Organic Wear Mascara* and famous Butter Bronzer to test out for you guys. I've actually been doing a few video style smaller reviews over on my Instagram with more to follow. So to see the demo for this mascara, head on over to my Instagram here and scroll down to the bottom of this post to see my review roundup and to shop the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara Family.

Also if you don't live in the US then Physicians Formula is actually available from iHerb here*.
PRICE - $9.95/£7.37 for 7.5g of product. The Mascara is 70% Organic, 100% Natural & Paraben and Cruelty-Free. It's also suitable for anyone with sensitive eyes. This comes in Ulta Black only.

PACKAGING - I love the quirky shaped packaging and the brush is a lovely thick rubber bristled brush.

APPLICATION - This applies easily and is buildable too. I tested one eye without eyelash curlers and one with. The lash curlers do help however I wouldn't say this is a very lengthening mascara, it's more for thickening and building up the lashes.

Regardless of my love for rubber bristled brushes I do think if the brush was more pointed at the tip that it may help with really getting into the root of the lashes and catching all those tiny lashes more efficiently.

LONGEVITY - This definitely felt comfortable on the lashes and it wore well throughout the day, despite a tiny bit of transfer.
I award the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara a 4.3 out of 5.

My Everyday Makeup Routine - No Foundation Required!

Everyday Makeup Routine
When it comes to make-up, I think you've gathered by now I'm a total make-up junkie of course! The weekends are usually for me when I have the most time to play around with make-up to create new looks and test out products. But for the week days, I tend to stick to a minimal routine which involves no foundation, as I like to let me skin breath. My everyday makeup mainly consists of a neutral brown eye, a bit of bronzer, blush and a lip balm, the only thing I always do fully everyday is my brows (you got to have those brows on fleek!) So today I wanted to share with you my everyday make-up routine to show you that you don't always need a foundation to look your best, it's just about a good skincare routine and a kick ass concealer!

What's your go to makeup staple you can't live without everyday?

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush Review and Photos

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush in Rose
I've had quite a thing for blush lately and following on from my review on the Milani Baked Blush comes the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush. This pretty glowing blush comes in four shades and contains a mix of mood enhancing ingredients, so of course I had to pick this up! Here's my thoughts.
Price
This retails for $11.95 which is around £8 in English Pounds. This may sound expensive for a drugstore blush, but really this has a lot more to offer than your average blush. As I mentioned above this comes in four shades including, Pink, Natural, Rose and Warm. I picked this up in Rose.
Packaging
I absolutely love the packaging and really everything about these caught my eye. The blush itself has a beautiful heart etched design which features different shades of blush, that when mixed together creates a beautiful flush on the cheeks. This also comes with a brush and mirror too.
Application
This applies beautifully to the cheeks and this particular shade is super pigmented, so a little goes a long way. But if you do add too much, it can be blended out easily. I'm not sold on the whole, mood enhancing properties, but overall I absolutely loved the finish this blush gave.
Longevity
Although this doesn't claim to be long wearing, surprisingly this lasted really well, right up into the evening hours.
Overall Thoughts
I absolutely adored this blush, everything about it appealed to me. I loved how pigmented and longwearing this was and this shade in particular was beautiful on the cheeks, giving me a gorgeous flush of colour. The packaging is adorable and again the fact these come with a mirror and a brush is great for the price. So next time I'm passing by the US, I will defiantly be picking up a few more of the shades to try.

I award the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush 4.8 out of 5

February Favourites 2016 - Men's Shave Balms, Blush and Nude Lips

February Favourites 2016
Well February defiantly went by quick, even with the extra day this year! But although February has been and gone, there was for sure some firm favourites for me this month. So here's my round up of everything I've been loving in February 2016.
Milani Baked Blush
Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink and Rose D'Oro
I've never really delved into the world of drugstore blushes, but just recently, they have been my only blush of choice, especially the Milani ones. I have been particularly loving Dolce Pink and Rose D'Oro form the Baked Blush range as these beautiful shades, give the most stunning glow to the cheeks and plus they last all day too.
MAC Lip Pencil Subculture, Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Afternoon Tea & MAC Hue
The Perfect Lip Trio - MAC Subculture, Tanya Burr Afternoon Tea and MAC Hue
I recently re-kindled my love for nude lips and found the perfect trio while delving through my makeup collection. I've been over lining my lips with MAC Subculture, then applying MAC Hue all over the top, then to finish, I have been applying Tanya Burr Afternoon Tea in the centre of the lips.
Nivea Post Shave Balm
Nivea For Men Post Shave Balm
Thanks to Nikkie Tutorials, this has been my only face primer of choice for February. This genius product has glycerine in which helps your make-up stick and last all day. I've also found this works even better when using this in replace of a day moisturiser too.
Milani Bella Bronze
Maybelline Gel Liner in Brown
Milani Bella Eyes Bella Bronze and Maybelline Gel Liner in Brown
It's been all about the chocolate eye looks for me in February. I love brown eye products in particular as they make my green eyes pop more. My favourite combo has been Milani Bella Bronze, blended out all over the lid and under the eye and Maybelline Gel Liner in Brown on the lash and waterline.
Physicians Formula Bronze Booster
Physicians Formula Bronze Booster
Another firm favourite and recent discovery, is this drugstore bronzer from Physicians Formula. The reason why I've fallen in love with this is because, it looks natural, matte and non orange.
Revlon Colorstay
Revlon Colorstay Foundation
Because of the colder months, I've been opting for a more full coverage foundation and this old favourite from Revlon has been the best at helping my skin look flawless, even through the bad skin days!
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
Another old favourite is this cleanser from Liz Earle. It really is amazing at soothing your skin, taking off make-up and leaving my skin with a beautiful glow every time I use it. I really don't know how I lived without this!

Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Review and Photos

Physicians Formula Bronze Booster
Last year I reviewed quite a few bronzers, after a period of using the same bronzer for years, I wanted to branch out and see what was good in both high end and drugstore. Physicians Formula is a brand I have only slightly dipped my toe into, so I thought a good place to start would be testing out one of their face products in the form of the Bronze Booster. This bronzer not only contains an SPF of 20 but it has all the benefits of a Beauty Balm, so here's my thoughts.
Price
The Bronze Booster retails for $14.95 for 9g of product, which is around £10 in English pounds. Although this is not available in the UK, it can be found in most US drugstores as well as online.
Packaging
The packaging is gorgeous, as is all Physicians Formula products. The name is defiantly eye-catching too along with the very descriptive box which is great so you know exactly what you are buying and what it does.
The compact also comes with a handy mirror and bonus travel brush too.
Application
The bronzer comes in two shades, light to medium and medium to dark, I picked this up in medium dark, as this was all they had available at the time. To look at, this bronzer is slightly shimmery in the pan, but don't let this put you off, as it actually gives a lovely, even and matte finish. The deeper colour is also not too dark on the skin, I'd say it gives more of a lovely deep glow, that's buildable and defiantly not orange looking, which is great.
Longevity
I thought this latest pretty well throughout the day, but I if you are going out at night or sunbathing I would recommend re-applying this to intensify the colour and to protect the skin, as this doesn't last all day and night. If you are using this as an SPF then it's recommend you apply this every two hours, it also advises you use a waterproof sun cream as well if you sweat or are going to be swimming.

Overall Thoughts
At first, because of my pale skin I was nervous about applying the deeper shade in this bronze booster, but it actually ended up having a lovely natural looking finish as well as being matte. Admittedly this is a little pricey for a drugstore bronzer, but given the BB benefits as well as the SPF,  I do think this has a little more to offer than your regular bronzer. I love the eye-catching packaging as well as the bonus mirror and brush and quite frankly what's not to love about this bronzer!

I award the Physicians Formula Bronze Booster 4.7 out of 5
