Pixi Chloe Morello
Pixi Lip Icing Review
PIXI + CHLOE MORELLO - Chloe created a multi-use palette and Lip Icing that is inspired by romance and love.

PRICE - Palette Chloette retails for £28 and the Lip Icing is £16 for 3.5g of product.

WHAT'S INSIDE -  The palette includes six eyeshadows, three brow/liner shadows and three blushes. The Lip Icing comes in the one shade called Cake.

APPLICATION -
PALETTE CHLOETTE
All of the eyeshadows are beautifully pigmented shimmery shades. I'm obsessed with Passion as it's a stunning rose gold shade that looks gorgeous teamed with a brown liner. You can also use the two lighter shades (Veil and Honeymoon) as highlighters too.

I love using the two light brown matte shades (Knot & Unity in the trio pan) mixed together to fill in my brows and the black (Tux) as a liner along the lash line.

The three blushers have a delicate shimmer to them and all are pigmented, soft to the touch and blendable. I love these as you still get a full-sized pan within the palette and both Promise and Bouquet can be worn as shadows aswell.

LIP ICING IN CAKE
The Pixi Lip Icing is the first of its kind within Pixi's Lip Collection. This beautiful iridescent gloss looks lovely worn alone or on top of a lipstick, this also smells so much like Chocolate Orange!

LONGEVITY - Both the shadows, blush shades and brow colours stay put throughout the whole day. The Lip Icing does wear well but I would advise popping this in your bag for on the go touch-ups.
Pixi Dulce Candy
Cafe con Dulce
Dulce's Lip Candy
PIXI + DULCE CANDY - Dulce has created two versatile eye and lip palettes. Café con Dulce can be worn as either eyeshadow, highlighter or blush. And Dulce's Lip Palette can be used for both the lips and cheeks.

PRICE - Café con Dulce retails for £28 and Dulce's Lip Palette is £28.

WHAT'S INSIDE - Both products come boxed and contain nine generous pans of colours in each palette.

APPLICATION -
CAFÉ CON DULCE*
As I mentioned above this is a wonderfully versatile palette with a wide selection of nine highly pigmented shimmer shades. I personally love using the top row as highlighters, the middle row as blushers and the bottom row as eyeshadows, but anything goes where this palette is concerned. All of the shadows are buttery soft to the touch, blendable and easy to work with.

DULCE'S LIP CANDY*
This lip palette is not only amazingly pigmented but each colour glides on so easily and effortlessly. There really is something for everyone in here whether your a nude, pink or peach kind of girl. I actually love applying these directly onto my lips with my fingers if I need a quick swipe of the colour and of course you can use any of these to add a pretty pop of colour to the cheeks. All of the shades are matte bar Sirena (Top, Middle) which has a subtle sparkle to it.

LONGEVITY
The shadows last really well and the lip pans last up until you eat, so you may want to re-apply as and when is needed.
Pixi Weylie
PIXIE + WEYLIE HOANG* - Exclusively created for the eyes, both the palette and liner are designed to add dimension and definition.

PRICE - The Dimensional Eye Creator Kit Retails for £22 and includes both the eyeshadow palette and double ended black eyeliner.

WHAT'S INSIDE - As I mentioned above inside the box you get one eyeshadow palette that contains three mattes and three shimmer shadows. The Black Liner Duo is dual ended and includes a fine black felt tip liner on one end and a retractable kohl liner on the other.

APPLICATION -
LET'S TALK EYES EYESHADOW PALETTE
First of all, I love how compact this palette is and the fact you get a nice mix of both matte and shimmers. On the back of the Eye Creator Kit box, you'll find some tips and tricks on how to use each of the shades if you're unsure on where to start, either way, any of the colours can be worn alone or all together to add definition to any eye shape. It's worth noting Gurl! has a slightly chunkier texture to it.

Overall you get a decent amount of product and all of the shades are buildable, blendable and pigmented.

BLACK LINER DUO
The felt tip liner is lovely and pigmented and has a small but precise tip to create the perfect winged liner. On the other end, you have a soft black kohl liner that works well both for the waterline or to line the lash line.

LONGEVITY -
The shadows last really well throughout the day and the liner duo is especially budge-proof if worn along the lash line.

Overall whatever palette you decide then you can be sure there is something for everyone!

Maybelline Color Drama Lip Contour Palette Review and Photo's

Maybelline Color Drama Lip Palette
Just lately I've seen an increasing number of brands releasing lip palette's. Now this is something I've always considered as a pro product, however many drugstore brands are now creating their own affordable versions too.

Maybelline recently released a little bit of a different take on this concept, in the form of the lip contour palette. The palette has everything you need to create and give you the illusion of a fuller lip, so here's my thoughts...
Price
The Color Drama Lip Contour Palette retails for £9.99 and comes in two shades, Blushed Bombshell (a pink/brown mix) and Crimson Vixon (a red/plum mix).
Packaging
The palette is simply packaged with a handy how to guide on the back. Both palette's include a lip primer, three matte lining shades, three matte colours, a highlighter and double-ended brush.
Application
1. The first step is to apply the primer with your fingers. I really enjoyed using this primer as it did the perfect job of smoothing, mattifying and priming my lips.

 2. Next it is recommend you use the brush to line the lips with one of the liner shades.

3. You then can go in with any three of the slightly lighter shades to fill in the lips. I actually preferred using my fingers to apply these, but you can use whatever you feel works best for you.

4. Lastly you can use the highlighter on either the centre of the lips or on the cupids bow to give the illusion of a fuller lip.

I love the fact that this palette is also customisable, so you can mix the colours together to create your own personal shades too. Furthermore this is perfect for travel if you don't want to take your whole lipstick wardrobe away with you, as it's compact and has everything you need in one palette to go.
Longevity
Although this primer does help the colour last that little bit longer, it does fade throughout the day, therefore re-application is recommended.
Overall Thoughts
Overall I love the concept of these, however they do take a little more time and effort if you're after the more fuller, contoured lip look. But hey, no worries if you're short for time, then these palette's are also versatile meaning you can easily mix the colours together with your fingers, to create your own custom shades in seconds.

Packaging wise these palette's are nice and compact and there's a great selection of shades in each to cater for both daytime and evening appropriate looks. But I think ultimately these are the most ideal for traveling and to pop in your handbag for on the go touch ups if you're not a fan of dragging many different lip products around...

I award the Maybelline Color Drama Lip Contour Palette a 4 out of 5
