The original has 6.5ml of mascara but the updated version has 13.1ml of product.

WHAT DOES IT DO AND WHO IS IT FOR?
The mascara claims to give you long, refined and full voluminous lashes thanks to its Polymer-enriched thickening complex and lash comb wand. Additionally, the mascara is suitable for contact lens wearers too.

Covergirl Total Tease Mascara - Price varies from $5.23 to $9.79 depending on the store and shade selection.

PACKAGING
Total Tease comes in a pink and black tube with a unique rubber bristled brush.

HOW TO USE
Start with the shorter more fuller bristles to add length, separation and volume and use the other side of the brush with the longer bristles to catch any corner lashes. Use this mascara to build up the lashes without the worry of clumping.

LONGEVITY
2-4 months once opened.

WHERE CAN I BUY IT?
Amazon, Ulta*, Walmart*, Target* and CVS.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
I love this as it's a wonderful lengthening mascara that gives my lashes an instant volumising lift. I picked this up in Black Brown and I love the colour and the fact that the mascara is totally buildable. The only thing I would say is to take extra care when using it so close to the eyeball just because the brush is so spiky, but nonetheless, if you're after a mascara that lifts, separates and volumises then this could be the one for you!

If you want to see this in action using the mascara alone and with eyelash curlers, then be sure to watch my demo below...

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara Review and Photos

Physicians Formula UK
Physicians Formula is a brand I first discovered on one of my many trips to the Drugstore anytime I was visiting the US. I always found this to be an interesting company but at the same time quite expensive for a drugstore brand. However, the thing that appeals to me most about Physicians Formula is the fact they don't use harsh ingredients within their products and they're hypoallergenic and Cruelty-Free too.

I've been yearning to try out two of Physicians Formula's iconic products for years now and I finally got around to picking up the Organic Wear Mascara* and famous Butter Bronzer to test out for you guys. I've actually been doing a few video style smaller reviews over on my Instagram with more to follow. So to see the demo for this mascara, head on over to my Instagram here and scroll down to the bottom of this post to see my review roundup and to shop the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara Family.

Also if you don't live in the US then Physicians Formula is actually available from iHerb here*.
PRICE - $9.95/£7.37 for 7.5g of product. The Mascara is 70% Organic, 100% Natural & Paraben and Cruelty-Free. It's also suitable for anyone with sensitive eyes. This comes in Ulta Black only.

PACKAGING - I love the quirky shaped packaging and the brush is a lovely thick rubber bristled brush.

APPLICATION - This applies easily and is buildable too. I tested one eye without eyelash curlers and one with. The lash curlers do help however I wouldn't say this is a very lengthening mascara, it's more for thickening and building up the lashes.

Regardless of my love for rubber bristled brushes I do think if the brush was more pointed at the tip that it may help with really getting into the root of the lashes and catching all those tiny lashes more efficiently.

LONGEVITY - This definitely felt comfortable on the lashes and it wore well throughout the day, despite a tiny bit of transfer.
I award the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara a 4.3 out of 5.

Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara and Total Temptation Brow Definer Review and Photos

Maybelline Temptation Mascara and Maybelline Total Temptation Brow Definer
Hey guys and welcome back to another new product launch and First Impression. Today I'm sharing with you the Maybelline Total Temptation Collection* which consists of the Total Temptation Eyeshadow and Highlight Palette, Mascara and Brow Definer. So here are my thoughts...
Price
The Total Temptation Eyeshadow Palette retails for £11.99 and consists of 8 eyeshadows and 2 highlighters. The Mascara comes in black only and is £8.99 for 8.6ml of product. also if you're in the US there is a waterproof version too. Finally, to complete the collection there is a Brow Definer Pencil that comes in three shades, Blonde, Medium Brown and Dark Brown. This contains 5g of product and is £7.99.
Packaging
I adore the light pink packaging which is echoed throughout the whole collection as it's feminine, eye-catching and totally on-trend.
The mascara has a beautifully long-bristled brush and the formula is infused with coconut extract, making it an all round appealing combination.
The Brow Definer is dual ended with a tear-dropped spoolie located at one end and a diamond-shaped retractable pencil situated at the other.
Application
Total Temptation Brow Definer - To start with I used the small brush to brush my brows up and then I went in with the retractable pencil. The pencil itself glided on easily although it did take me a while to get used to the shape of this however, I do think this is a great pencil as it's easy to use and perfect if you're short for time.

I was kindly sent the mascara and the pencil in Dark Brown and admittedly at first, I thought this may have been a little too dark for me, but I did use a light hand to apply the Brow Definer and the brush really helped to make sure everything was blended in seamlessly.
Total Temptation Mascara - Upon application I did have to wipe the brush first as there was quite a bit of mascara build up, but once I cleaned this away the mascara was very buildable and it helped lengthen and volumise my lashes perfectly. I applied three coats on the top and it wasn't clumpy at all.

If you've seen the video above to go with this First Impression also then you'll know I didn't use eyelash curlers initially, however, I have tried them out with this mascara since and it does make a slight difference but honestly, I think you can get away without using them as it kind of does what a lash curler would do anyway.
For the bottom lashes I applied one coat but again I advise you wipe the brush on a tissue to remove any remaining mascara build up.
Longevity
Both the Brow Definer and Mascara lasted a good seven and a half hours without the worry of fading, flaking or transfer which was great.

Overall Thoughts
Overall the Brow Definer is a little more expensive for a drugstore brow pencil and comparing this to Maybelline's Micro Brow Pencil (which I've reviewed here) this is definitely the pricier pencil out of the two. However, both pencils are retractable with a spoolie and both come in the same three shades. So I think this does come down to personal preference on whether you prefer a skinnier pencil to really get into the brows or you like a slightly thicker pencil, that's quick and easy to use if you're short for time. Personally, I do prefer the Micro Pencil but I do love this brow definer too as it has a tinier more precisely shaped spoolie and this wears well throughout the day.

I award the Maybelline Total Temptation Brow Definer a 4.7 out of 5

The mascara I'm obsessed with as the brush is a great shape, it smells lovely and the consistency is perfect for lengthening and volumising the lashes without the worry of clumps. (Just remember to wipe your brush beforehand). Again I do think this is a tad more expensive than your average drugstore mascara, however, this does have a unique selling point because of the coconut infused factor, plus I adore the packaging and it wears well and feels comfortable even after a long day of wear.

So if you love a lenghtening mascara, that's buildable and comfortable or you're a fan of Maybelline mascara's in general, then I think you may just want to give this on a go too!

I award the Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara a 4.9 out of 5

*The Brow Definer and Mascara were kindly sent to me but as always all opinions are my own.

Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara Review and Photos

Tanya Burr Selfie Story Collection
Last week Tanya Burr released possibly her most exciting collection to date called the Selfie Story Collection. The Selfie Story assortment consists of the Selfielash Mascara, Selfie Sculpt Brow Pencils, and the Selfie Flick Black Eyeliner. I was lucky enough to win one of the mascara's so of course, I had to put this to the test straight away, so here are my thoughts...
Price
The mascara retails for £7.99 for 9.5ml of product, the Selfie Sculpt Brow Pencil is £6.49 and comes in three shades, Fair, Medium, and Dark, and the Selfie Flick Black Eyeliner is a liquid liner that retails for £4.99.
Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara
Packaging
I adore the black and gold packaging that continues throughout the whole collection as it has such a lovely premium feel to it.
The mascara also has a fantastic long and thin rubber wand full of short spiky bristles that form into a pointy tip.
Application
Firstly I love the fact that this mascara doesn't make any brash or bold claims on how it performs, but what it does say is that the Selfie Lash is a buildable and eye defining mascara...

Upon application, this mascara instantly lifted and lengthened my lashes without the need for eyelash curlers, furthermore, I really liked the fact I could build up the volume without the worry of clumps. In addition, this has a perfect consistency as it's not too thin or thick which I think is what makes this such a great volume-building mascara. The overall look is separated, lifted and lengthened lashes.
Longevity
This wore for nearly 12 hours straight without a flake or transfer in sight which was great!

Overall Thoughts
If you've watched my First Impression video above to go with this post then you'll know by now I'm totally in love with this mascara!! The price, packaging, consistency and the way this performs overall are just so right and this for me is one of those perfect all-rounder mascaras that I haven't put down since I tested it initially.

I have been subscribed to Tanya for years now and I remember her saying a few years back how she was in the midst of creating a mascara however it just wasn't quite right at the time, fast forward to now and you can tell that Tanya has put a lot of thought and effort into making this mascara just right. and I commend her for that.

So if you're a fan of a clump-free, lash building, lengthening mascara's then this may just be your new go-to mascara!

I award the Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara a 4.9 out of 5

You can find the Selfie Story Collection at Feel Unique and selected Superdrug stores.

Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara Review

Maybelline Big Shot Mascara UK
The 'Big Shot' mascara is the latest to join the Maybelline Colossal family. The big shot not only has striking packaging but it also claims to be a voluminous mascara. As you know Maybelline is my number one brand for drugstore mascaras, so here are my thoughts on this latest edition...
Price
This retails for £7.99 for 9.5ml of product. Big Shot is also available in Black and Black Waterproof. You can find the mascara available at, Superdrug, BootsUlta* and Walgreens*.
Packaging
Well, what can I say, the packaging is everything! Plus the brush is a lovely medium sized, thick bristled brush.
Application
The brush made this easy to apply and I would say this definitely gives you volume and fullness, however, this doesn't give you loads of length and so I think this would work even better teamed with a lengthening mascara like the Maybelline Push Up Angel applied first.
Longevity
This stays really well throughout the day without any smudging or flakiness.

Overall Thoughts
Personally, I do think this is better compared to some of the original Colossal formula's and I overall think this is a great mascara if you want to add volume and fullness. As I mentioned above if you're after a bit more lift and length, then the Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara would work perfectly with this also.

The packaging and the name of this mascara are on point and I continue to get excited to what Maybelline could ever think of next to rival what they already have and other brands. So if you're a fan of the Maybelline mascara's then this is definitely worth a look at if it meets your mascara criteria.

I award the Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara a  4.2 out of 5
