Benefit They're Real Brown Mascara Review and Photos

Benefit They're Real Mascara in Brown
A few years back I did a full review on the original Benefit They're Real Black Mascara when it first launched. Excitingly this Summer Benefit released two new colours to the They're Real Mascara family including a blue and brown. Having chosen to wear the original black formula for my Wedding, I was super excited to hear about a brown version which would be perfect for my bottom lashes, so I immediately snapped this up and couldn't wait to try it. Here's my thoughts.
All the Benefit They're Real Mascara's retail for £19.50 for 8.5g of product. As I mentioned before the mascara comes in black, brown and blue and each bottle is coloured to represent that shade of mascara.
Upon application this mascara catches every lash as well as lengthening to the max for a gorgeous spidery effect. The colour is stunning and is more like a chestnut brown shade which looks amazing on green or brown eyes and is perfect if you prefer to wear brown over black.
Overall I absolutely love this colour as it's unlike any regular shade of brown mascara I have ever tried and the fact it catches every lash and lengthens is an added bonus. If you do want to see a more detailed overall review on the Benefit They're Real Mascara, then make sure you check out my original blog post here. http://pinkparadisebeauty.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/benefit-theyre-real-mascara-review.html

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer Review and Photos

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
If you had seen my Bridal Beauty Haul you'll know I was looking for a new concealer to try for my up and coming Wedding. Now I was all set to go for the NARS Creamy Concealer until I saw Jaclyn Hill mention about the Urban Decay Naked Concealer and how much she loved it, so I thought I had to give this ago instead as I totally trust her opinion, plus it was a little bit cheaper too. Here's my thoughts.
Price
This retails for £17.50, but I just noticed Feel Unique have 10% off at the moment, which makes it £15.75 and free delivery!

This concealer contains 5ml of product which is not as much as some high end concealers and is probably why it's a little bit cheaper, nether less it's still a decent size and portable too.
Packaging
I absolutely love the simple, neat packaging, including the beautiful box it came in. As I mentioned above it's also a great size to pop in your handbag for on the go touch-ups. The concealer itself has a brilliant long, thin doe-foot applicator that's perfect for getting under the eyes and around the nose.
 Application

This comes in eight shades including the one I picked up in Light/Warm. On the packaging this claims to be a light weight concealer, that covers blemishes etc. as well as being buildable and looking natural on the skin.

For the purpose of this post and like all my reviews and first impression I haven't used a primer or applied a foundation so you can see this product in it's truest form. Upon application this concealer has a medium creamy consistency, that feels light weight on the skin, it also blends out super easily to a flawless, dewy finish. This did cover my redness well, just like a full coverage foundation, as well as highlight and mask my dark circles sufficiently. This concealer actually reminds me of the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation slightly.
Longevity
This did stay well throughout the day considering I hadn't powdered, but I did get some creasing by the afternoon under the eyes, so a powder would defiantly be needed to set the concealer immediately after application. I also think if your going out for the evening and you want it to last all day,  make sure you prime and take the concealer with you for touch-ups.

Overall Thoughts
Overall I loved this concealer, the consistency and light-weight formula were beautiful and for me this applied like a dream. The packaging is beautiful and the doe foot applicator is the perfect size for detailed application. Although I did have some creasing, a good primer and powder would help solve this problem and it didn't really put me off how nice overall this concealer was.

I award the Urban Decay Naked Concealer 4.7 out of 5

Benefit High Beam Review and Photos

Benefit High Beam
I used to use Benefit High Beam years ago but recently re-discovered it through my Strobing 101 post. I thought now would be an appropriate time to review this, considering strobing/highlighting is now huge within the beauty community, so here's my thoughts.
Price
This retails for £19.50 for 13 ml which is on the more pricier end, but really you don't much, so a little goes a long way.

Packaging
The packaging is simple and is just like a nail polish bottle with a tiny brush that helps apply the product with ease.

Application
This silver based cream highlighter looks especially pretty on cooler toned skins and can be applied several ways. I applied this directly to my skin, before foundation with the brush provided to the high points of my cheeks, down the nose, cupids bow and chin, I then blended it out with my fingers and a damp sponge. This highlighter is also buildable so you can intensify how much glow you like or try mixing a little with your foundation for an all over healthy glow.

Longevity
This lasted for most of the day for me, but it did fade into the evening, so the glow wasn't as intense as when I applied it in the morning. That being said I would recommend using a primer and re-applying the highlighter if your going out in the evening.

Overall Thoughts
I love this product as it's perfect for my cool toned skin, it just gives the right amount of highlight that is buildable if desired. This silver based highlighter gives the most beautiful dewy, iridescent glow to the skin and is just the ticket if your into the strobing phenomena.

Although this is a little pricey, I just love how versatile High Beam is and the fact a little does go along way. So if your skin is in need of a healthy glow or your totally on the Strobing bandwagon, then this could be just for you! I will defiantly be using this to achieve a healthy bridal glow to my skin!

I award Benefit High Beam 4.5 our of 5

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Smog Review and Photos

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Smog
Last week I shared with you some new make-up products I had bought to do my Bridal Make-up with. Over the past year I've really been into brown liner as it makes my green eyes pop more and so I wanted a pretty brown liner for my lower lash and waterline.

I'm already a huge fan of the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencils and already have a full review on these bullet proof pencils and so it made sense to purchase the pencil from Urban Decay. I opted for Smog, which is the most beautiful shimmery, medium, brown shade, perfect for green or brown eyes. This beautiful colour has a soft and buttery texture, that glides on easily, for all day, no budge wear time.

Have you tried the Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencils, if so I'd love to know what your favourite colours are?! Leave me a comment down below or tweet me a picture.
