|Revolution Radiance Lights Palette|
Strobing or highlighting has become one of the biggest trends to come out of 2015 and so has my obsession for all things glowy! Having not tried many drugstore highlights before, I thought I would finish of my Revolution review spree with the Radiance Lights Palette. This palette is apparently a great affordable dupe for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, so of course I needed to put this to test and here's my thoughts.
This palette retails for an affordable £8 for three decent sized highlighters including Breathe, Exhale and Glow, which can also be purchased separately.
Again this palette is beautifully packaged in a rose gold box. Inside is a rather large black palette which accommodates not only the highlighters but a decent sized mirror too.
These are finely milled which means they go on like a dream. Each highlighter gives as the name suggests, a subtle radiant glow to the skin, just like the Hourglass powders do. I used a mix of Breathe and Exhale to highlight the tops of my cheeks, cupids bow and nose, but really these are so delicate they could be used anywhere on the face. Glow has more of a golden sheen and so I think this is more suitable for the décolleté, and cheeks, it's also perfect if you have a beautiful tan.
Even though these are very subtle, they lasted really well throughout the day, but if your are going out at night with the same make-up on, I would say bring this palette with you so you can add a little extra on top. Or if your after a more intense strobe for the evening, I would put a more vivid highlighter over the top, just to make it pop that bit more.
This is yet another amazing product from Revolution, as not only are these affordable for the amount you get, the packaging is stunning and plus you get a full size mirror too! These really are the most beautiful subtle highlighters, that create a beautiful glow to the skin and can be used virtually anywhere on the face. So if you've been wanting to try the Hourglass version, but your budget just won't stretch that far, then really this is a superb inexpensive alternative for any strobing fans out there.
I award the Revolution Radiance Lights Palette 4.9 out of 5
