Skincare infused with Rose has become one of the most popular ingredients over the past couple of years thanks to it's hydrating, soothing and antiseptic properties. Pixi stock a wonderful line of rose infused skincare including the Rose Caviar Essence and Rose Flash Balm which are the newest editions to the Pixi Rose family. Packaging
Both products also come in a pretty pink tube and are easily identifiable as part of the Rose infused line.

Application
Pixi Rose Caviar Essence - Upon application, the essence smells divine and has a beautiful lightweight gel-like texture that sinks into the skin straight away.

Ideally, it is recommended you use this in the morning after you've toned and before you moisturise, however, I quite enjoy using this in the evening, so the potent ingredients can penetrate into my overnight. Nevertheless, whatever time of the day you decide to use this I can vouch that your skin will feel refreshed, soft and hydrated.

Pixi Rose Flash Balm - The Rose balm has a slightly thicker cream consistency that again is easily absorbed into the skin.

This is actually a lovely versatile product that can be used in several ways as either a primer before makeup or as a 5 minute pick me up mask in the morning or evening. I love using this both ways as it's delicate, refreshing, hydrating and lightweight.

All in all, both are wonderful at rejuvenating and bringing the skin back to life.

Longevity and Overall Thoughts
Both the Rose Caviar Essence and Rose Flash Balm have a shelf life of 12 months once opened. I have been using both products since the start of the year every week and I'm only half way through which is pretty good going. So whether you're in need of a boost of hydration or you're an avid rose skincare fan, both are fantastic add-ons to any skincare routine if you're in need of a little skin pick me up or you're ready to take your skincare routine to the next level...
