Autumn Make-Up and Nail Edit featuring MAC Cranberry

Autumn Make-up and Nail Polish
Now it's starting to get colder here in the UK, it's defiantly feeling more like Autumn and now is the perfect time to change up my look and rock the deeper, darker shades for the season. Here's a look at what products have been making an appearance in my make-up bag over the past couple of weeks.
This week I finally took of my Wedding Gel nails and opted for a more appropriate Autumnal colour in the form of Essie Angora Cardi. I bought this shade last year but never got around to wearing it until now. It is the most beautiful deep shade of red with a mauve undertone, perfect for those cold crisp days.

Make-up wise I have been leaning more towards the on trend burgundy shades on my eyes and matte taupe colours on my cheeks and lips. Maybelline Metallic Pomegranate Color Tattoo is the most stunning shimmery shade and is great as a base or worn alone. MAC Cranberry is a beautiful shade of raspberry that looks gorgeous on top of the color tattoo.

Usually I love a metallic or shimmery blush, but just recently I've re-discovered MAC Buff a beautiful matte taupe/peach blush, which helps even out all the shimmer going on, on my eyes.

I posted about MAC Velvet Teddy only this week, but this is fast becoming a firm favourite of mine along with MAC Cherish.

Summer to Fall Transition Outfits Lookbook

As I've got older I've really come to appreciate the seasons more, especially Autumn. I love watching the leaves turn beautiful shades of red and orange, as well as feeling the air become crisper so you can wrap yourself up in your favourite cosy sweater. October is defiantly the transition period where we add a few more layers of clothes and opt for a more seasonal array of colours that Fall has to offer.

Today I wanted to share with you some pieces I've recently picked up, to update my wardrobe ready for the colder weather. A lot of these pieces are ideal for layering and can still be worn alone when we get the odd milder day. I hope this inspires you too!

My Favourite Fall Things To Do

My Favourite Fall Things To Do

My Favourite Fall Things To Do by pinkparadisebeauty featuring photo wall art

As I have got older I have grown to love the Fall Season and these are just a few of my favourite things to do and wear during the season.

1.  I enjoy watching the leaves on the trees turn beautiful shades of red and gold through the season they always look so pretty.

2. It's all about the candles coming into the winter months, they create such warmth and atmosphere in the home.

3. As it starts to get colder I love nothing more than wrapping myself in a big cosy blanket while watching the TV!
4. I love making and trying different soups in the Fall they are so hearty and filling.

5. I like the dark Revlon Lip Butters as they give the perfect hint of colour but don't look to overpowering on the lips.

6.. Essie Recessionista is my all time Fall colour it's the perfect mix of red & berry.

7. Riding boots are still trending this Fall and I have been on an endless mission to find the perfect pair, which I finally found in Zara, they are a great fashionable add on to your wardrobe to wear in the colder months.

8. There's nothing better than getting one of Starbucks new season hot drinks to warm you up, they are such a nice treat and defiantly get me in the mood for Fall!

My Top Fall and Winter Nail Polish Picks featuring Essie and Nails Inc

My Top Fall & Winter Nail Polish Picks

Now we are approaching the colder seasons, I'm excited to put away my neon's and mint green nail polish and get out the gorgeous deep, dark colours ready for the winter.
I've put together for you some of my current favourite top Fall & Winter Nail Polish Picks trending this season.

Blood Vamp Reds - Show your inner Vampire and sport this seasons array of deep reds, burgundy's and blacks.

Neutral & Bronzed - Neutral shimmers and cremes are still popular for Fall/Winter, so if you're  bored of wearing your deep colours already then opt for a sassy nude. If you're not into neutrals then step it up with a gorgeous bronze or golden colour ready for the party season.

Jewel Tones - The Jewelled colours are back this year in bright purples, greens & blues, my favourite is the Nails Inc. Bling it on Emerald as it gives the effect of sparkly jewels on your nails.

Metallic - It's all about the grey toned metallics this year shot with pinks & greens, my top favourite is Essie - For the Twill of It.

Texture - If you're into nail art and keeping up with the trends, then texture is a must for all dye hard nail fans, play with matte, Liquid Sand, Feathers etc. the list is endless!

Liquid Golds - Following on from the popular gold leaf top coat last year, drape your nails in Ciate's Metallic Caviar nail kit or go for something more subtle from O.P.I's Mariah Carey Holiday Collection in Ski Slope Sweetie which is a light iridescent gold mix.
