Khaki Nail Polish - The IT Shade

Following on from my Khaki Clothing Obsession, is Nail Polish. I had been on the hunt for a Khaki polish for a while now, but I never really found that perfect shade of olive until I discovered Barry M Cardamom. Cardamom is a stunning muted shade of khaki that's a crème based formula. I've been alternating between my favourite nudes and this olive shade and I just can't get enough of it!

Topshop Nail Polish - Nails of the Day

Topshop Nail Polish in Ghost

Iridescent nail polish is one of my favourite's, as I love the way it reflects every colour of the rainbow. Last month I snapped up my first nail polish from Topshop, which was from their Christmas collection for 2015. I chose of course the iridescent shade called Ghost, this pretty shade is a pearl, duo-chrome polish, which looks gorgeous on it's own or on top of a white.

Topshop Nails stock an extensive selection of colours, ranging from matte to metallic and glitter to duo-chrome. Polishes' retail for around £6 and come in cute polka dot packaging. The polish I picked had the perfect sized brush for application, which  helped apply the polish really nicely. I do want to pick up a few more polishes from Topshop so I can do a more detailed review for you guys, so if there's any colours you recommend, just let me know.

Nail of the Day - Models Own Indian Ocean and Barry M Blueberry

Blue nails have defiantly become more wearable and with so many different shades and options the possibilities are endless! I've had Models Own Indian Ocean in my collection for a few years now but I haven't used this in ages until I recently re-discovered it. Models Own Indian Ocean is the most stunning duochrome blue polish, shot with light pink. You can wear this colour on it's own but I personally like using this as a top coat over various colours, as it can change up any regular crème shades and transform them into the most beautiful shades.

My favourite combination is complimenting Indian Ocean with Barry M Blueberry underneath, it just looks so pretty, feminine and Summery! Also I recommend teaming is with Essie Mint Candy Apple too.

Nail of the Day - O.P.I You're Such a Budapest

O.P.I You're Such a Budapest

I recently re-discovered this colour in my O.P.I collection and just had to pull it out and wear it again. You're Such a Budapest was first released back in 2013 as part of the Spring/Summer Euro Centrale Collection. This beautiful periwinkle purple is shot with a subtle shimmer and looks stunning on it's own or paired with an iridescent glitter. I also featured this in a Cornflower/Periwinkle comparison post. Models Own Mint Icing and Morgan Taylor Party at the Palace 

Mint is a bit of an obsession of mine, as you probably know from my mint nail polish obsession post and just recently I have been loving two particular mint shades, Models Own Mint Icing and Morgan Taylor Party at the Palace. As I love them both so much, I thought I would pair them together to create a pretty summer, mint nail combination. I used Models Own Mint Icing as the base and Morgan Taylor Party at the Palace in top. Mint Icing is the most beautiful, bright shade of mint and Party at the Palace is like a stunning iridescent, mermaid colour!

Nails Inc. George Street

Don't get me wrong I love a good bright nail colour, but sometimes I go through phases where I just love a neutral nail. I have a few neutral favourites and Nails Inc. George Street is defiantly in my top five. George Street is a neutral crème formula with a hint of pink, that compliments even the palest of skins.

Coral Nail Polish

Last week my toes finally came out of hibernation for the Wedding I went too. I decided to paint them a bright neon coral to match with my dress and in the end I opted for Morgan Taylor Don't Worry Be Brilliant.

Coral's are one of my favourite shades to wear at this time of year, as they just make me think of warm evenings and Summer holidays. Now it has to be said, I have a fair few shades of coral nail polish, so I thought I would narrow it down to my top five coral picks for Summer.

O.P.I My Chihuahua Bites!, Morgan Taylor Watch Your Step, Sister!, Soigne Sirop De Rose, Morgan Taylor Don't Worry Be Brilliant, China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy

1. O.P.I My Chihuahua Bites - This is a crème based deep coral, that has a red undertone.

2. Morgan Taylor Watch Your, Step Sister - Created for the Disney Cinderella film, Watch Your Step, Sister is a beautiful bright shade of coral, which again is crème based, with a pink undertone.

3. Soigne Sirop De Rose - This gorgeous pink/coral has the most beautiful formula, that is natural based too.

4. Morgan Taylor Don't Worry Be Brilliant - I absolutely love this shade as it's true neon coral, which is super bright and fun.

5. China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy - This is an oldie, but a goody, as it's again a super bright neon coral, which has more of an orange undertone compared to the Morgan Taylor one.
