Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner Review and Photos

I'm a big fan of the Benefit They're Real Mascara and have been waiting in anticipation for the new launch of the push up liner from They're Real Family, I finally got my hands on it last week so here's my thoughts.

Price
This retails for £18.50 here in the UK for 1.4g of product, compared to a Bobbi Brown gel liner pot which has 3g for £18, so this is a little pricey and not as good value for money, but I expect that from a high end brand and such a distinctive liner.

Packaging
The packaging is signature to the They're Real family with the black, gold and white box and writing.
The box is full of useful information about the purpose of the liner, how to use it and a consumer results poll percentage on the liner. Inside the box is a great tips and tricks leaflet on how to get different styled liner, which is super beneficial for anyone who is totally alien to such a unique liner.
The liner itself has sleek black packaging and is the perfect size to throw in your make-up bag for on the go touch-ups.
Application
When you first use the pen you need to twist a few times for the product to come out, I had to dab the excess off onto my hand before using, then it advises to twist once to push up the liner. The tip itself is made up of a really thin rubber to give you a nice precise line, when I started applying to the eyes this defiantly helped get really close to my lash line without leaving those nasty white gaps you get sometimes when using a normal pencil liner.
I did get a pretty defined line when applying, but I think it will take me a few goes to get used to the tip and how much product I need for each eye.
Longevity
For me I had no problem with regards to longevity with this liner, it did not budge the whole 8 hours I had this on, I had no transfer onto my eyes or any smudges or flaking, it just looked exactly the same as when I put it on that morning!
Just a side note, this is quite hard to get off, so make sure you have a good eye make-up remover to hand, I know Benefit have come out with one to accompany the push-up liner.
Overall Thoughts
I'm totally impressed with this liner as I am a big fan of gel liners in the pot anyway, because of there longevity and freedom you get to create your perfect line with a thin brush, but with the Benefit Push-Up liner it makes it even easier to apply in a pen form as it still gives you all the pros of a gel liner but with a precise application rubber tip.
The longevity is excellent and the consistency perfect, as I said before it will just take me a few goes to get used to this unique applicator, but I think I'll be good in no time at all! I'm even considering using this as part of makeup look for when I get married!

The only down point for me is the price as this is a little pricey for a tiny amount of product compared to the pot form, but it's a small price to pay for a high end innovative liner.
I would love to see Benefit come out with some different colours to accommodate other gel liner fans as this would be the perfect applicator for this.

June Beauty and Nail Favourites featuring Marc Jacobs and Models Own

So I know everyone always says how quick the months are going, but I seriously can't believe we are half way through 2014! My June favourites have been a bit sparse this month as I haven't really loved that many new or old products but I have a small selection for you, that I have really loved and of course a nail polish!
Happy July!

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh
I'm not really a fan of floral scented perfumes, but this is beautiful, it's fresh and perfect for Spring and Summer, I love wearing this during the day, also the packaging is bright and fun and looks amazing on my vanity!
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
I like to spend a little more when it comes to skincare and I have been a big fan of the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish for years now, I just love the creamy, buttery consistency and the beautiful aroma, I feel like I'm at a spa every day I use this.
St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Lotion
Although I love the sun, the safer option for me is fake tanning, I have tried everything and recently discovered the St Moriz line which I had heard a lot of good things about, mainly because of it's affordability and I have to say this is amazing, it goes on well and dries instantly, I will defiantly be stocking up on more of this line!
Models Own Sun Hat
My monthly favourites wouldn't be the same without a nail polish love and this month it defiantly has to go to Models Own Sun Hat from the polish for tans range, this is a beautiful crème light neon pink and is a perfect dupe for China Glaze Shocking Pink.
Revlon Lip Butter in Cupcake
I recently discovered my lip butters especially Cupcake, it's a beautiful bubble gum pink which gives a lovely sheer wash of colour and looks beautiful for the Summer.

Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion Review & Photos

I don't know about you but Toner is an essential part of my skincare routine and has been since I was a teenager, I have always cleansed, toned and moisturised and love looking for new toners to try.
I had recently run out of mine and wanted to try something new and discovered Benefit's skincare line and ideally the Moisture Prep Toning Lotion, the packaging looked beautiful and appealing, so here's my thoughts.

The Benefit Skincare line is made up of a great combination of products to accommodate all skin types and ranges from a serum to eye cream to a facial mist and a scrub.
The Toning Lotions purpose is to revitalize the skin and aims to prepare the face before moisturising, it contains a beautiful mix of aloe leaf, oat and meadowsweet and has won several awards.

Price
This retails for £23.50 for 177.4ml which is super pricey for a toner! but this is a unique toner in the sense that it primes and revitalises the face with it's magical blend of ingredients.
 Packaging
The toner is boxed in a stunning turquoise, mint and neutral patterned box which is beautiful and worthy of any vanity display!
The bottle inside the box is plastic and has a cute design almost like a washed up shipwrecked bottle with the faux cork screw top.
Application
I applied this with cotton wool after cleansing, it had a beautiful fresh smell and I could really smell the aloe. The consistency was thick which is unique compared to a regular toner and it felt beautifully fresh on the skin and sank in straightaway.
After a week of using it, my skin felt smoother and refreshed and is a pleasure to use each morning.
 Overall Thoughts
I really liked this toner as it was unique to anything I had ever tried before, my skin felt invigorated and smooth each time I used it, but because of the hefty price tag this is more of a luxury toner I would only use on a weekend or special occasion. It would be great as well to see this toner in a spray form as it was hard to pour out a tiny amount to use economically.

I award the Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion 4.3 out of 5

Rimmel Match Perfection Review and Photo's

I am always on the hunt for the next best foundation and reached out to some of you on Twitter to advise me on your favourite foundation, a lot of you mentioned that the Rimmel Match Perfection was a great drugstore foundation, so I was intrigued by this and thought I would give it a go.
Here's my thoughts.
Do you have any Foundation you swear by, let me know via Twitter using the #pinkparadisebeauty I would love to know!
Rimmel Match Perfection comes in 11 shades which match most skin tones, I'm using 103 True Ivory which was a pretty good match for my pale skin. This foundation has a dewy radiant finish and an SPF of 18, it also claims to last all day and match the skin for a flawless finish.

Price
This retails for £6.99 for 30ml which is excellent value for money as I have always seen Rimmel as an affordable, fashion forward, drugstore brand.

Packaging
The foundation is simply packaged in a glass bottle with a separate blue lid and hygienic pump dispenser which is always good in my opinion.
Application
Upon first application, this had a thin consistency and had a pleasant subtle smell, I used a flat brush and damp make-up sponge to apply this.
The coverage was medium but buildable to suit your needs, it gave my skin a beautiful light weight finish.
 Longevity
Considering I didn't use a setting spray with this, the packaging was correct it did last amazingly well for a drugstore foundation, I just needed to slightly touch up around my nose area.
I have recently tried this with a Setting Spray and it lasts even better, so if you want guaranteed longevity into the late evening hours, use a good setting spray as well.
Overall Thoughts
Overall I was really impressed by this foundation, not only was it affordable, it had great longevity and a beautiful lightweight feel and finish to it, this is defiantly a super foundation for day or a special occasion like a Wedding because of it's dewy luminous finish it gives to the skin, it also is hygienically packaged and has a great shade selection.
I would of never looked twice at this foundation had someone not recommended it to me as I tend to be drawn by a striking name and bright packaging, I'm now excited to try some of the other foundations within the Rimmel range.

I award the Rimmel Match Perfection 4.6 out of 5

Last weekend my fiancé and I got invited out for dinner at a lovely Thai restaurant along the cliff top, it was a beautiful night and so humid until late, we are lucky enough to live very close to the beach.
I was adamant I wanted to wear a skirt as it was so warm, so this is the outfit I went for in the end.
