How to Style the Jumper Dress for Spring
I must say I've been thoroughly enjoying all this warmer weather, lighter evenings and beautiful blooms we've been having this Spring. So much so I decided I would brave it and get my legs out finally after months of hibernation!

Now if you'd seen my Pay Day Lust List for April, you'll know I was feeling the Jumper Dress Vibes... Jumper Dresses are a great transition piece for Spring as they still keep you feeling warm but at the same time they expose the right amount of leg for this time of year.

Today I wanted to share with you how I'm styling this gorgeous blush pink jumper dress from Boohoo, along with a few other ways you can style up this piece for spring too here.

10 Spring Nail Polish Shades and Trends 2016

The Best Nail Polish Colours for Spring
Now Spring is finally upon us, it's time to brave the flip flops and rock the beautiful array of Spring shades trending for 2016. Here's the lowdown on the hottest shades for Spring, as well as my Top 10 picks that are all from the drugstore.

Tanya Burr Pick 'N' Mix
PETAL PINKS
Medium shades of pretty pinks are all around this year and one of my favourite petal pinks is from Tanya Burr. This stunning shade is opaque in two coats and is a steal at only £5!
Barry M - Do You Pink I'm Sexy
BLUSH PINK
Shades of blush pink can be found everywhere this season and with so many different options to choose from it's hard to know where to start! I found this beautiful light option from Barry M called Do You Pink I'm Sexy. This shade is from the Daylight Curing Range and is one of the newest Spring shades to be released from Barry M. It's also a quick dry polish when used in conjunction with the Daylight Curing Top Coat.
Essie Stones 'N' Roses
PEACH AND DUSKY CORALS
It's a dusky peach affair when it comes to coral's this Spring, with some beautiful shade options gracing the clothing and nail market. One of my favourites from last year was Essie Stones 'N' Roses.
Barry M Skinny Dip
NUDE NAILS
Nude is a shade that's been around for a few season's now. I think the reason why this stays popular, is because it's such a wearable colour that comes in a variety of shade options. My current favourite is Skinny Dip from the Barry M Coconut Infusion range.
Barry M Laguna
PERIWINKLE PICKS
Periwinkle first became a hot must have colour a few years ago and now it's back again with an abundance of shades ranges to choose from. This blue option is another one of Barry M's newest shades also from the Coconut Infusion Collection.

Tanya Burr Fairy Godmother
PERIWINKLE PURPLE'S
Another Periwinkle option is one of my favourites from the Tanya Burr collection in Fairy Godmother. This is a gorgeous light purple which looks amazing as a matte too!
Models Own Lilac Icing
PARMA VIOLET PURPLE
I had to give this next shade a mention, as for me it epitomises everything that is Spring. I picked this up last year from the Models Own Icing Collection and I couldn't put it down all Spring and Summer long. It really is the most stunning shade of bright purple that has now become one of my holy grail must have colours.
Revlon Hold'Em
MUDDY MAUVES
Lastly if your not into the bright or light colours, then your in luck as Spring also has some forgiving deeper shades on offer too. Revlon Hold'Em is a lovely muddy purple which looks oh so chic for any occasion.
Models Own Midsummer Mauve
TOP TAUPES
Again taupe is another great deeper option, that's been a staple nail shade for years now. One of my newest taupe favourites is from the Models Own Hyper Gel Collection in Midsummer Mauve. This shade has a beautiful purple undertone and is a great affordable option if your into the gel like, shiny finishes.
L'Oreal Absinthe
KHAKI VIBES
Khaki has defiantly been one of the biggest trends to come out of 2016 so far, especially within the fashion scene. I've already featured one khaki shade on my blog from Barry M, which I absolutely love, but I also found this other great option from L'Oreal called Absinthe which is only £5 too.

Four ways to update your make-up for Spring!

Update your makeup for Spring

With the warmer weather setting in, it's a great excuse to inject some colour into your make-up bag. Here's four simple ways to transition from Winter to Spring. What's your favourite make-up product to update your look for Spring? Leave a comment down below or tweet me.
L-R - MAC Blush in Peony Petal, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar, Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation & Stila All over Shimmer.
1. ADD A DEWY GLOW - Switch to a tinted moisturiser or lighter coverage foundation for the warmer months and if your feeling brave mix a little shimmer in with your foundation to create a beautiful dewy glow.

2. PRETTY CHEEKS - If your not into colour, then why not add a wash of colour to the cheeks instead. A pink blush can add a pop to any neutral make-up look or a wash of shimmer creates a healthy sheen to the cheeks.
L-R - MAC Eyeshadows in Aquadisia & Parfait Armour, NYX Eye/eyebrow Pencil in Aqua Shimmer, Milani Eye Pencil in Aqua & Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Ransom.
3. A POP OF COLOUR - If your feeling brave then a small pop of colour to the eyes, can transform your look for Spring. I love using a coloured liner in the inner corner of the eye and adding a matching shadow on top to create a simple spring look.

Maybelline Sensational Lipstick in Power Peony & Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Lemonade
Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Afternoon Tea & MAC Dazzleglass in Like Venus
4. PETAL LIPS - The quickest way to update your make-up for Spring is to add a pretty colour to the lips. If your daring try one of the Maybelline Rebel Boutique Lipsticks, my favourite is Power Peony or opt for a sheer lipstick or gloss instead.

4. Essie French Affair
Essie French Affair is a crème based pink/lilac pastel shade, which is so pretty for Spring as it gives a lovely clean fresh finish to the nails.
Morgan Taylor Invitation Only
5. Morgan Taylor Invitation Only
I'm always on the look out for a good purple nail polish as there never seems to be that many good shades of purple out there. I discovered Invitation Only last year and oh what a stunner this is! It's a crème based pastel purple, that looks identical to a pack of Parma Violet sweets!
O.P.I You're Such a Budapest
6. O.P.I You're Such a Budapest
You're Such a Budapest is one of my all time favourite colours. This periwinkle purple is the most stunning shade on short nails, with or without a glitter.

Essie Bikini So Teeny
7. Bikini So Teeny
Another oldie but a goody, Essie Bikini So Teeny is reminiscent of O.P.I You're Such a Budapest but with more blue in. This crème based polish is shot with a faint silver shimmer and is another perfect addition to your Spring nail wardrobe.

Morgan Taylor Party at the Palace
8. Morgan Taylor Party at the Palace
Party at the Palace is part of the Cinderella collection created by Morgan Taylor for the release of the new Disney film. This polish has a mint green base and is shot with a gold/green shimmer. It is the most stunning shade of mint green I've ever seen and defiantly my new favourite, you have to go and check this out!

Tanya Burr Little Duck
9. Tanya Burr Little Duck
I recently featured this in my February favourites, not only because of the colour but because of the impressive formula. This crème based mint green is a lovely bright mint, which is opaque in two coats.

O.P.I Lights of Emerald City
10. O.P.I Lights of Emerald City
This is my number one favourite glitter, as I have never seen anything like this before. Lights of Emerald City is made up of tiny square pieces of iridescent glitter, mixed together with larger white square pieces. This stunning glitter looks best paired with any of the above spring colours or as the perfect addition to a Bridal French manicure, if your after something a little different but still classic.
