Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Gloss Review and Photos

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Gloss
I'm already a big fan of the Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm, so when I saw they were releasing a lip gloss version I squealed with excitement! These are not yet available in the UK but are widely accessible in most drugstores in the US. They come in 12 shades and three different finishes including, shimmer, cream and jelly formulas. I grabbed 5 out of the 12 to review for you guys, so here are my thoughts.
Price
These retail for $4.49 for 5.5ml which is around £3.16 in English pounds. As I mentioned above there is 12 colours in the collection, as well as three different finishes including,
SHIMMERS
- Just a Glimmer
- Fuchsia Flicker
- A Wink of Pink
- Lilac Lumi

CREAMS
- Taupe With Me
- Life's a Peach
- Pink-a-Boo
- Tickled Pink

JELLIES
- Coral Craze
- Pink Pizazz
- Fab
- Berry Chic
Packaging
If you've been following me for a while now, you'll know I'm a total sucker when it comes to packaging and these lip glosses sucked me in completely! The packaging is cute, colourful and girly and epitomizes the Maybelline Baby Lips brand.
Application
The glosses are super easy to apply as they have a nice sized, doe foot applicator and non-sticky formula. To me these are what I call a no commitment lip gloss, meaning you don't have to spend a long time applying these in front of a mirror, as they only have a tiny amount of colour to them. They are also convenient to pop in your bag for on the go.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Gloss in Just a Glimmer
Just a Glimmer is a very subtle white based iridescent shade, shot with pink and blue particles. All of the colours also have a sweet, fruity smell to them too.
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Gloss in Fuchsia Flicker
Fuchsia Flicker is bright pink iridescent gloss, that adds a subtle sparkle to the lips.
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Gloss in Tickled Pink
Tickled Pink is a baby pink cream gloss, which has a delicate pink hue to it.
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Gloss in Life's a Peach
Life's a Peach is a milky, peach-toned gloss. This is the most pigmented shade out of the five I purchased, but it still looks delicate on the lips.
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Gloss in Coral Craze
Coral Craze is very clear in colour and is more of a your lips but better shade.

Longevity
I was actually surprised how long these lasted on my lips, as usually lip glosses are notorious for having not the greatest staying power. These only came off when I eat and obviously when you have a drink the colour can fade, but all in all they had reasonable longevity. I also loved the fact these felt smooth and non drying on the lips too.

Overall Thoughts
Although I'm not a big fan of gloss anymore, I did love the concept of these, but I do think they are more suited towards a younger audience, who's maybe just getting into make-up or for someone who's not into lipstick or colour and prefers a subtle sheen to their lips. With the adorable packaging, sweet smell and affordable price point these are a perfect starter lip gloss for the tween age range and of course anyone who's a girly girl at heart!

I award the Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Gloss 4.3 out of 5

  2. It gives a perfect shine that's not glossy/sticky. You can even do it over lipstick. It tastes and smells amazing. My only qualm is that, the last time I used baby lips, my lips dried out. maybelline baby lips
