Maybelline Loaded Bolds Matte Lipsticks |
These retail for £6.99 and are available from Boots and Superdrug.
Packaging
As I mentioned above, we have a slightly condensed range of new shades here in the UK comprising of four with shiny deep blue lids, which are from the Loaded Bolds collection and three with blue/black matte lids that are known as The Creamy Mattes.
883 Orange Danger (Loaded Bolds)
882 Fiery Fuchsia (Loaded Bolds)
886 Berry Bossy (Loaded Bolds)
885 Midnight Merlot (Loaded Bolds)
968 Rich Ruby (The Creamy Mattes)
942 Blushing Pout (The Creamy Mattes)
932 Clay Crush (The Creamy Mattes)
Application
These are stunningly pigmented and glide on like butter! But because of their intense creaminess I would recommend using a lip liner and a lip brush, especially with the more vivid and darker shades.
All of the shades have a lovely semi-matte finish to them which is really nice as they feel moisturising and non-drying on the lips.
Longevity
Because of their creamy texture these lipsticks do transfer, but despite this they do actually stay on the lips throughout the day, just make sure you pop your lipstick in your bag for on the go touch ups as the colour does fade.

I'm obsessed with this collection as it has the perfect mix of bright's, nudes and dark's, that are both intensely pigmented and gorgeously creamy. The packaging is very simple on the outside with the shades doing all the talking, however the price point is spot on as the quality of these is super impressive for a drugstore lipstick.
It is a shame we only ever get a condensed collection of shades here in the UK, but despite that these are defiantly worth a look at if your after some exciting new shades to add to your Autumn lipstick wardrobe!
I award the Maybelline Loaded Bolds and Creamy Mattes 4.7 out of 5
