MAC Lipstick Shades in Mehr, Velvet Teddy, Brave, Twig and Rebel
Well, I think it's safe to say Autumn has certainly arrived and so begins my love for everything Autumnal. I always adore all the new seasonal colour palettes that roll around each year and I'm forever exciting to see what will be trending in Make-up, Nails and Fashion. Today I wanted to kick off a series of 'Autumnal' themed posts with a look at my five favourite MAC Lipstick Shades for Autumn...
MAC Mehr
MAC Mehr is actually classed as a 'dirty pink' on the MAC website. This matte formula has a blue undertone and is one of those must-have deeper shades of pink that goes perfectly with any Autumnal make-up look. You can also pair this with one of MAC's best-selling Lip Liners, Soar.
MAC Velvet Teddy
If you haven't heard of Velvet Teddy, then girl you need to! This shade is one of MAC's bestsellers as it's such a wearable matte. And if you're a lover of nudes, then this medium beige ticks all the boxes for the colder months. MAC recommend pairing with this Boldly Bare Lip Pencil for the ultimate lip combo.
MAC Brave
This is probably one of my favourite MAC shades, alongside my Wedding shade, Angel. Brave is a beige/pink with a satin finish and this colour just looks great on anyone, it's just such a flattering shade that's not too dark or light, but somewhere in between.
MAC Twig
Another satin finish, MAC Twig is to me a slightly more intense redder version of Brave. So if you're after something with a deeper undertone for Autumn, then this is the shade for you. MAC suggests pairing this with Half Red Lip Pencil.
MAC Rebel
It wouldn't be Autumn without a berry shade in the mix. I love Rebel as it's such a lovely shade if you want to dress up an outfit for a date night or drinks with the girls. Rebel is described as a 'midtonal plum' on the MAC website. This colour can be teamed with a lip liner such as Vino or the matching Rebel Lipglass.
If you've followed me for a while now, then you'll know I have a slight obsession with Maybelline's Baby Lips. The reason why I love these so much is because during the week I'm more of a lip balm wearer and so I like something that's going to moisturise my lips, as well as add a hint of colour if I need it.
Much to my excitement Maybelline recently released some new Autumn additions, which are possibly some of my favourites as they come in the most delicious smelling scents and packaging! The new scents include Chai Tea Latte, Pumpkin Spice (exclusively available at Superdrug) and Vanilla Cupcake which retail for £2.99 each. Each shade also adds a beautiful tint to the lips too. Which one is your favourite?

Now that the nights are drawing in and it's getting a little crisper outside, it's defiantly safe to say I'm feeling the Autumn Vibes! Seventeen is a brand I've really been loving lately so I thought I would do a one brand tutorial using all Seventeen make-up to create my first Autumn look of the year. What's your favourite Autumn make-up products?
As you know from my Autumn Make-Up and Nail Edit post, I'm totally feeling the Autumnal shade vibes. Today I thought I would share with you another make-up look I've been loving recently, using some beautiful shades from MAC and Maybelline.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and on Bronze
MAC Coppering
For my eyes I teamed one of my favourite Maybelline Color Tattoo's in On and On Bronze with MAC Coppering. I love Coppering as it really makes a green eye pop.
MAC Eye Kohl in Tarnish
MAC Pigment in Teal
On the lower lash liner I used MAC Eye Kohl in Tarnish and MAC Teal Pigment blended out over the top.
MAC Cherish
For the lips I used one of my all time favourite MAC lipsticks, Cherish which is another perfect Autumn shade.
Now it's starting to get colder here in the UK, it's defiantly feeling more like Autumn and now is the perfect time to change up my look and rock the deeper, darker shades for the season. Here's a look at what products have been making an appearance in my make-up bag over the past couple of weeks.
This week I finally took of my Wedding Gel nails and opted for a more appropriate Autumnal colour in the form of Essie Angora Cardi. I bought this shade last year but never got around to wearing it until now. It is the most beautiful deep shade of red with a mauve undertone, perfect for those cold crisp days.

Make-up wise I have been leaning more towards the on trend burgundy shades on my eyes and matte taupe colours on my cheeks and lips. Maybelline Metallic Pomegranate Color Tattoo is the most stunning shimmery shade and is great as a base or worn alone. MAC Cranberry is a beautiful shade of raspberry that looks gorgeous on top of the color tattoo.

Usually I love a metallic or shimmery blush, but just recently I've re-discovered MAC Buff a beautiful matte taupe/peach blush, which helps even out all the shimmer going on, on my eyes.

I posted about MAC Velvet Teddy only this week, but this is fast becoming a firm favourite of mine along with MAC Cherish.
